2. Eligibility
To engage our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal authority to enter into contracts.

3. Project Agreements
- Consultations: Initial consultations may be free, as noted on our website. Any subsequent services require a signed project agreement.
- Scope of Work: The scope, timeline, and cost of services will be outlined in a project contract. Changes to the scope may incur additional costs and require written approval.
- Permits and Compliance: We will obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local building codes in the Denver Metro area, as specified in the project contract.
- Client Responsibilities: You are responsible for providing access to the property, making timely decisions, and ensuring the site is safe and accessible for our team.
4. Payments
- Pricing: Costs are determined based on the project scope and outlined in the project contract. Estimates are not final until a contract is signed.
- Payment Schedule: Payments are typically due in installments (e.g., deposit, progress payments, final payment) as specified in the contract.
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance or the maximum allowed by Colorado law.
- Refunds: Deposits or payments are non-refundable except as outlined in the project contract or required by law.
5. Cancellations and Termination
- By Client: You may cancel a project subject to the terms of the project contract. Cancellation may result in forfeiture of deposits or fees for work completed.
- By Bright Light Renovations: We reserve the right to terminate a project due to non-payment, failure to meet client responsibilities, or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure). In such cases, you will be responsible for costs incurred up to the termination date.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- Workmanship: We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from project completion, covering defects due to faulty installation or materials provided by us.
- Third-Party Products: Manufacturer warranties apply to products (e.g., fixtures, appliances) not supplied by us. We are not responsible for third-party product defects.
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
7. Liability
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bright Light Renovations’ liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- Property Damage: We will take reasonable care to protect your property. You are responsible for removing or securing valuable items before work begins. We are not liable for damage to items not disclosed or removed.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, plans, and materials created by Bright Light Renovations remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not reproduce or distribute our designs without permission.
